Kristen serves as Gemma’s Director of Human Resources and is responsible for the alignment of human capital strategies with Gemma’s business objectives. Kristen’s 20 years of experience in the energy industry brings a unique blend of expertise spanning marine construction, power EPC, and strategic human resources management. Beginning her career in project engineering, Kristen has contributed to a diverse project portfolio encompassing a variety of marine, renewable, and thermal projects. These early experiences provided her with a deep understanding of construction dynamics, contracts, and the intricate risk management workings of the industry. Kristen transitioned into a strategic HR leadership position for Gemma in 2013, recognizing the pivotal role of human capital in organizational success, she has led the development and implementation of HR strategies tailored to support Gemma’s growth and performance objectives. Her strategic vision, hands-on approach, and deep understanding of the human element in both business and construction has been instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity within the Gemma organization. Kristen earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Connecticut and is an active member and volunteer within her community. Beyond her professional and academic achievements, she takes the most pride in her family, as a devoted wife and loving mother of four children. |
