The Richmond County Phase II Power Project is a 525 MW two-on-one combined cycle power block and a 178 MW simple cycle combustion turbine. All three combustion turbines are General Electric 7FA units. The heat recovery steam generators were supplied by Nooter/Eriksen, and the 190 MW steam turbine was supplied by Toshiba.
Gemma’s EPC scope of work included complete plant design and construction from site development through electrical interconnection. Construction began in October 2000 and substantial completion was achieved in June 2002.
