  Gemma's Quality System is modeled upon the ISO 9000 Quality Standard and the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code. Our Quality System, through separate Quality Program Manuals, meets the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the National Board Inspection Code. We have been granted ASME Certificates of Authorization for the use of the "A" and "PP" Code Symbol Stamps for new construction and National Board Certificate of Authorization for the use of the "R" Code Symbol Stamp for repairs and alterations to Boilers and Pressure Vessels. Our Quality System focuses on defect prevention through work planning and process control. Inspection at critical stages within fabrication, assembly, and installation are an integral part of our work processes. Responsibility and authority for achieving quality objectives is communicated to all staff and to workers who provide products and services to Gemma. The Director of Quality and the on-site Quality Control Specialists verify and ensure the achievement of those quality objectives. |
