The Monroe Power Project is a peaking plant consisting of two dual-fuel Westinghouse 501F combustion turbines along with fuel off-loading and storage facilities, new administrative building and electrical interconnection.
Gemma’s EPC scope of work included complete plant design and construction from site development through electrical interconnection and initial plant operations. Construction took place in two phases. The first was constructed in 1999 and the second in 2001.
